Dr. Boskovic is a Board Certified Internal Medicine specialist who choose to live in Florida after completing her residency in New York.
Dr. Boskovic is born and raised in Canada but has lived in different locations around the world including London, England, Grenada and St. Vincent’s in the West Indies, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Serbia, Miami and Los Angeles during her medical studies and clerkship. She has also travelled to different countries and continents in order to learn more about the cultures and customs of people who encompass the earth.
Dr. Boskovic has varied interests and hobbies that keep her active outside the medical profession. She enjoys journalism and has been involved in medical correspondence since coming to Florida. She has been featured on a number of TV programs, radio shows, speaking on different topics including anxiety, restless legs syndrome, stress, heart disease. She has also written for local papers and journals and given lectures in a variety of community venues. She is an editor for a medical book on Eponyms , and holds the position of visiting professor in the Department of Immunology where she lectures students on autoimmune diseases, tumors, transplantation, hypersensitivity, among other things.
Above all, Dr. Boskovic loves practicing medicine. She strives on keeping up with medicine and individualizing the medical needs of patients and their families. Besides her office practice, she also has privileges in 3 hospitals (North Broward Medical Center, Northwest Medical Center, Coral Springs Medical Center). She is thorough, compassionate and dedicated to making each person feel like they are a member of her extended family. She reinforces the prevention of disease by teaching her patients how to eat a healthy/balanced diet, exercise, practice good sleep hygiene, and maintain a good bill of health and following doctors orders when it comes to tests, compliance, screening tests.
Dr. Boskovic has the philosophy of trying to practice what she preaches so that she can always guide her patients to happier and healthier lives.
